A Second Glance # 5: The Writer and the Magician

Arthur Conan Doyle first met Harry Houdini in 1920 at the height of fame for both of them. They corresponded and famously had a very public falling out over the then-popular Spiritualist movement. Houdini was an ardent skeptic, and Doyle a true believer in Spiritualism. The following is a cut-up of recordings of Conan Doyle and Houdini that imagines a conversation between them.
